    Removing Lumps From Dreadlocks

During the tightening process it is very common for Dreadlocks to go lumpy and bumpy, this is perfectly normal and is a sign that your dreads are tightening up.

If you want to get rid of the lumps, DO NOT under any circumstance cut them.

The easiest way to get rid of lumps in dreads is simply to place a tight (tight is the crucial bit) dreadlock bead or peyote stitch upon them and leave it there. Within a few weeks the lump will be all but gone.
