How Long Does My Hair Have To Be To Get Started?

This really does depend on hair type and how much work your willing to put in.

People with ordainary thickness, to thicker hair can start dreads with as little as three to four inches of hair, those with thinner hair will have to wait a little longer.

For ease sake we reccomend that you dont start your dreads till you have at least six inches of loose hair to do it with.

The longer you start your dreads the easier you will find them to make and maintain in the intial locking proces, where as the shorter you start them the more work the is initially but the better they will look as they start to grow out.
